Designed by Walter Matthews the Condor Toki knife has a full tang blade and is great for carving. The ergonomic handle features a finger grip that gives you amazing precision. The blade is drop point with a convex edge and is made from 1075 high carbon steel. Its curved handle in the back has a 90° striker for fire starting with ferrocerium rods. It also has a concave notch of excellent diameter, which allows the faster and more stable spinning for use as a “Bowdrill.”
The Tokiwas a tribal leader in Chile during the 15th century war times. The epic poetry “La Araucana” describes its Chilean inhabitants as: “… the people are so extraordinary, so proud, gallant, and bellicose, that they have never been ruled by king, nor foreign dominion submitted.” This knife rescues the strength of those primitive warriors.
